Big Font — Big Text Size · com.easiermobile.bigfont

Effective date: September 15, 2026 · Last updated: September 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the Big Font — Big Text Size mobile application ("Big Font", "the app") handles information. The app is developed and published by EasierMobile ("we", "us"), Cầu Giấy, Hanoi, Vietnam.

In short: Big Font does not require an account and never asks for your name, email or contacts. Your settings, bookmarks and browsing history stay on your device. The app is free and supported by advertising, so it includes Google AdMob and Firebase; these services receive device and usage information described below, and you can limit personalised advertising at any time.

1. Information stored only on your device

To make the app work, Big Font saves the following on your device only. We never upload it, and it is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its storage.

WhatWhy it is stored
Selected font size and icon sizeTo restore your display settings and show your current selection.
App preferences (language, in-app web font size, tutorial and session counters)To remember your choices between launches.
Bookmarks and browsing history from the in-app browser (Big News)To show your saved and recently visited pages.
Search terms typed into the in-app browserTo suggest what you typed before.
Count of how often you open other apps through Big IconsTo sort your most-used apps first.
Your advertising consent choicesTo respect the choice you made in the consent dialog without asking again.

2. Information collected by third-party services in the app

Big Font is free to download. To fund it we show advertisements, and to keep it working well we use analytics and crash reporting. These services are provided by Google and its partners and run inside the app; they collect the information below directly from your device under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your name, email, contacts, precise location or the content of pages you read.

2.1 Advertising — Google AdMob and Unity Ads

Ads are served by Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK). Some ad requests are passed through AdMob mediation to Unity Ads. To select and measure ads these services may collect:

Consent. Where required (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland) the app shows a consent dialog provided by Google's User Messaging Platform before any ad is loaded. If you decline personalised advertising you will still see ads, but they will not be based on your interests. You can change your choice at any time from the app's settings ("Privacy options").

Partner policies: Google Privacy Policy, How Google uses data from apps that use its services, Unity Privacy Policy.

2.2 Analytics and crash reporting — Firebase

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used in aggregate (for example which features are opened and how long sessions last) and Firebase Crashlytics to find and fix crashes. These collect a Firebase app-instance identifier, device model and OS version, country and language, app version, usage events (screen views, feature use, purchases), and — when the app crashes — a stack trace and device state. Analytics data is retained by Google for up to 14 months. We use it only to improve the app; we do not use it to identify you.

2.3 Remote configuration — Firebase Remote Config

The app fetches configuration values (such as which ad placements are enabled) from Firebase Remote Config. This sends the same app-instance identifier and basic device information as Firebase Analytics.

2.4 Advertising measurement — Google Ads

We promote Big Font with Google Ads. To measure whether our advertising works, information about installs and in-app activity may be attributed to Google Ads campaigns: the Google Play install referrer, your advertising ID, the first-open event, Pro purchases (with amount) and aggregated ad revenue. This information is shared with Google Ads only to measure and optimise our own campaigns, is subject to the consent choice in section 2.1, and is never sold or used to build profiles for other companies.

3. Device permissions

Big Font requests only the permissions its features need. You can revoke each one at any time in Android Settings.

PermissionHow the app uses it
Modify system settings (WRITE_SETTINGS)The core feature: applying your chosen font size to the Android system font scale. Nothing else is read from or written to system settings.
Internet and network stateLoading pages in the in-app browser, loading ads, fetching remote configuration, sending analytics and crash reports, and completing purchases through Google Play.
Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS)Optional reminders scheduled locally on your device (for example a tip about a feature you have not tried). No notification server is involved and no data is sent to schedule them.
VibrationHaptic feedback when you adjust settings.
List of launchable appsThe Big Icons feature shows and launches your installed apps at a larger size. The list is read on your device to build the grid and is not transmitted anywhere.

4. Purchases

Optional Pro features (including removing ads) are sold through Google Play Billing. Payments are processed entirely by Google — we never receive or store your payment card, billing address or Google account details. The app receives only a confirmation of whether an entitlement is active. A purchase event (product and amount, no payment details) is recorded in Firebase Analytics and may be attributed to our advertising as described in section 2.4.

5. Third-party websites

The Big News feature includes a browser for opening websites. Those websites are operated by third parties and are not controlled by us — their own privacy policies and cookie practices apply to anything you view or enter there. Links to the Play Store and our support email likewise open services governed by their own policies.

6. How information is shared

RecipientWhatWhy
Google (AdMob, Firebase, Google Ads, Google Play)Information in sections 2 and 4Serving and measuring ads, analytics, crash reporting, remote configuration, purchases
Unity Ads (via AdMob mediation)Advertising ID, device and ad-interaction dataServing ads when selected by mediation
Anyone elseNothingWe do not sell personal information and do not share it for other companies' marketing.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users or the public.

7. Your choices

8. Data retention

Data on your device stays until you delete it or uninstall the app. Firebase Analytics retains user-level data for up to 14 months and Crashlytics retains crash reports for 90 days. Advertising partners retain data according to their own policies linked in section 2.1. We keep aggregated, non-identifying campaign statistics for up to 24 months.

9. Children's privacy

Big Font is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13 (or the age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Your rights (GDPR, CCPA and similar laws)

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Because the identifiers involved are held by Google and Unity rather than by us, the quickest way to exercise most rights is through the choices in section 7. You may also contact us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell personal information. We do not discriminate against users who exercise their rights.

11. Security

App data is stored in Android's private per-app storage, which the operating system isolates from other apps. All communication with Google and Unity services is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Note that app data may be included in Android's own backup if you have enabled device backup in your Google account settings; that backup is managed by Google, not by us.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app changes. The revised version will be posted at this address with a new "Last updated" date, and material changes will be reflected in the app's Play Store listing. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
